It is hoped that the link learning clusters will develop as local communities of practice where link teachers actively engage with each other to increase their professional knowledge and practice, ultimately impacting positively on student  learning. This model of CPD also aims to develop the leadership capacity of link teachers as they work within the context of a dynamic, progressive and collaborative group of professionals committed to  improving student learning in literacy.

An integral feature of cluster meetings is the sharing of practice and we would encourage all attending to do so in order to ensure a rich professional dialogue.

There are a limited number of places on each cluster so please ensure you register on  early to ensure your place.

Please see details of our summer post-primary literacy clusters here.

These post-primary clusters offer literacy link teachers the opportunity to explore strategies, share ideas and engage in continuing professional development, aimed at improving the teaching and learning of literacy across the curriculum. To register a place on these courses please click here
